Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is a renowned wildlife conservation area located in northern Tanzania. It is part of the larger ecosystem that includes Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which flows through the area.
Ranking as the 6th largest National Park in Tanzania and covering an area of 2,600 square kilometers, The Tarangire National Park is most popular for its large elephant herds and mini-wildlife migration that takes place during the dry season which sees about 250,000 animals enter the park.

Selous Game Reserve

The Selous Game Reserve is renowned for its diverse and abundant wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo’s, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species. It is particularly known for its large population of African wild dogs, also known as painted dogs or African hunting dogs. These endangered predators thrive in the reserve due to its vast and relatively undisturbed habitat.
